Coach Pathways

The National Coach Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) pathway for Baseball coaches is as follows:

Level O Certification – Baseball Queensland recommends all T-Ball/MighTee Ball and Rookieball coaches attend this course.

Course Fee: $40.00 per candidate. This course will take approximately three hours to complete.

Level 1 Accreditation – The Level 1 Coach Accreditation Course is compulsory for any head coach, who coaches Baseball

i.e.Little League (U12) to Senior Baseball inclusive. Baseball Queensland also recommends any person who wishes to fill an assistant coach role within any baseball team should also hold a current Level 1 NCAS Accreditation.

Course Fee: $110.00 per candidate. This course will take approximately 16 hours to complete. Generally the course is conducted over an entire weekend. Contact your club or Regional Director of Coaching to organise a course.

Level 2 Accreditation – The level 2 Accreditation Course is conducted by the Australian Baseball Federation. This course is held annually in June/July at Palm Meadows on the Gold Coast QLD.

Course cost is $700.00 per candidate. This fee includes course resources, meals and accommodation.

Prerequisites: Candidates must have held Level 1 and actively coached for 2 or more years.
